A member asked:

Could it be a lyme borreliosis even though i never saw a tick or bite mark that is visible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rarely, but yes: Most cases of Lyme disease from tick bite start with skin lesions of some sort from target lesions to various rashes, but it is possible to either not notice small rashes or develop it later when a temporal association is not obvious. It then requires careful history of environment exposure, apparent prototypical skin lesions and blood testing.
