? Bacterial vaginosi: Bacterial vaginosis is the most common cause of strange, fishy vaginal odor which is typically worse after intercourse. It is usually accompanied by a grey white discharge. This is not a sexually transmitted disease but sometimes is sexually associated. Treatment with oral pills (Metronidazole, Tinidazole, Clindamycin) or topical gel (Clindamycin) is usually effective.
