Think colors...: 1.Get your green leafy vegetables - bok choy, kale, romaine, spinach 2. Orange - yummy sweet potatoes, carrots 3. Red - red peppers (tomatoes) 4. Purple - carrots, eggplants, cabbage 5. Other - brown potatoes, okra, cucumbers, onions, garlic, spices, ... There re many varieties, but above are some of the common ones found in local markets and growers, typical of the US.

Veggies: part of it.: My top 5 are 1. Anything cruciferous: Broccoli, brussels sprouts, arugula for their detox effects 2. Tomatoes for their lycopene and vitamin C 3. Any green herb: Mint, basil, parsley for their phytonutrients 4. Any winter squash: Butternut, acorn, Hubbard for their fiber and vitamin A/beta carotene 5. Any chili pepper: Poblano, bell for their capsaicin
