Prolactin: Hi. Do you have breast milk production in the absence of nursing a baby and/or absence of periods? Upper end of normal for prolactin (PRL) is usually between 15 and 22, so your PRL may be slightly high. If normal periods and no galactorrhea, it's insignificant. Medications and benign pituitary tumors can raise PRL. Probably best to see an endocrinologist. Good luck!
