A few Options: Many people w/ disc bulge are misdiagnosed.Bulge at L4-5 may/may not be actual cause of pain.Many drs. mistakenly correlate the 2 when other causes such as piriformis syndrome, QL contracture, cluneal nerve inflammation, etc. may be actual cause.Assuming it IS due to disc bulge-non-surgical options: Sweet caudal epidural (NON-steroid), osteopathic manipulation, may help.Get precise diagnosis first
