Now that i've had a seizure, will i be prone to have seizures forever?

1st time seizure: About half of people with a single seizure never have another seizure. The prognosis depends on the cause, which can be determined by a history, physical exam, blood testing, EEG and brain MRI. When these are all normal, the prognosis is good. Many people with a single seizure have normal test results.
