What do you suggest if my friend had a seizure and is now feeling different after a week or two of having it?

Encouragement or: Many people feel like their life is out of control after a seizure. They feel frightened. When they feel they can suppress the seizures, they feel better. Their mood may be low. It is rare, but sometimes people do not return to normal after a seizure. Are they awake? Are they alert? If they cannot answer questions, clean themselves or eat, this would be an important time to visit ER
