Wrong Pill: being on the birth-control pill and having more days of breakthrough than bleeding free days indicates that the pill is not a good pick for this particular woman and a different broke control pill should be tried.

Menorrhagia: You're having excessive length of bleeding. Sounds like the pill isn't stopping the break through bleeding You need further evaluation. At your age, you could have a bleeding disorder or other issue that needs to be addressed.
