Painful pustule: Vaginal pain can be hard to figure out. Vulvar vestibulitis, genital herpes, chronic yeast infections, vaginal cysts, vaginal ulcers, ingrown hairs are just a few of the many possibilities. Since you mention a pustule then genital herpes is at the top of the list. Testing will be needed to confirm.
