Clotting: Haemorrhoids do thrombose as part of a natural event.If you have a thrombophilia,ie an abnormality of clotting potential then recurrent in appropriate clotting can occur.What was the reason for your original saddle embolus?If not done then obtain advice re a colon or lower GI evaluation.
