Dr. Mark Fisher answered

Specializes in Neurology

"Treat"?: There's no "treatment" for Kleipple-Feil syndrome itself except surgical. It's a congenital bone problem. "Medical" therapy depends on the associated congenital anomalies. Pts with genitourinary abnormalities: Refer to a nephrologist or urologist. Cardiovascular abnormalities: Cardiologist or PCP. Auditory abnormalities: Refer to an audiologist or otologist. Klippel-Feil: This genetic disorder has a number of challenges, although the most apparent is the bone issues. Having a good general internist to coordinate care would be a good place to start.
