Rare: In general this is really a common associated symptom, as aortic aneurysm often don't have any symptoms. If they do, the symptoms tend to be abdominal and/or back pain or nerve pain radiating into the legs. In rare cases when the aneurysm extends to the iliac artery, this can compress on of the major "leg vein"(external iliac vein" which can lead to unilateral leg swelling.
