Other agents: In general, if your symptoms are not controlled with a medication, you could consider changing to something else. I would not recommend stopping your medication without discussing with your doctor though.

Drug of choice: perhaps Diltiazem is not the drug of choice -- what is going on with you? have you discussed this with your doctor or the cardiologist?
