In the refrigerator: There should be specific instructions when you get a new prescription as to where to store it (what temperature and for how long), and whether light damages it. There should also be an expiration date to tell you when it will no longer work if you keep it too long. Don't use it afterthat date. If you have questions, ask your pharmacist or go to the web site shown in the package insert.
