Hi i'm 33 weeks pregnant and have had a higher than normal white and red blood cell count in my urine on the past 2 samples sent to hospital?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends...: Have this been tested for urine culture in order to give a final diagnosis of a urinary tract infection? If urine culture is negative, this could also be related to contamination or vaginal infection. Make sure you discuss this is detail with your GYN provider. If positive for UTI then antibiotics is the indicated treatment. It is not uncommon to get those during pregnancy but is important to treat
