Not really: The medication we generally use to induce a period the hormone progesterone, takes several days to work. You could continue the hormone with the hope that it delays your period until after your trip. But there's no guarantee that it would work. Plus, a doctor needs to give you a prescription. Since you're having menstrual cramps, your period may come and go just in time on its own.
