How did start?: Where you exercising? Did you suffered an injury? Usually pain like that is associated to a muscle strain which could be caused by erratic movement, injuries, or strenuous exercise. In most cases symptoms last days and icing the area there times a day, rest and anti-inflammatory meds(like ibuprofen) help to relieve symptoms. If not better see your dr. for full exam.
