Vomiting: First of all it is never normal to vomit straight blood and that amount is very concerning. One of the side effects of purging is damaging the esophagus and in some cases causing a tear known as a mallory wiess tear. This can be very serious and even result in death. Cuting the lining of your throat or esophagus is serious, it is not a "just" Go be seen right now at the ER.
