Rare chance: The success of tubal ligation is pretty darn good but some procedures are better than others. Here is a good page on failure rates and causes. http://www.md-health.com/Pregnancy-After-Tubal-Ligation.html It's been working for 8 years, so likely will continue to do so. If you've symptoms that make you think you could be pregnant check with your doc to see what's going on. Condoms prevent STD's!
