Abdominal pain: Hi Michelle, Left lower abdominal pain as several potential causes. This could be a referred pain from your back or hip, or could be an abdominal wall issue such as hernia, or intra abdominal issue or even constipation. I suggest you make an appointment with your primary care physician for a more complete history and physical exam. I think this would help you get to the source of the pain.
