Pain: This is not usual and may cause problems The only reason for something similar is to use k y jelly for insertion of catheter after the insertion of local anesthetic.This is also used for the insertion of instrumentation. I would otherwise not do this as this may cause complications or infection.

Don,t: Years after the injection, skin reaction with granuloma formation may occur and adverse effects such as infection, ulceration, fistula, local migration, and cavernous invasion may also occur. Surgery to remove this may also be unsuccessful resulting in necrosis and needing plastic surgery. It is not a wise thing to do considering the complications that may result.
