Chronic leukemia: 2 big groups of chronic leukemia are- chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (cll). The chance of beating CML is very good as the response to daily tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy is amazing and the remission rate is high. In cll, however, therapy usually wont be needed on diagnosis if there is no indication. Also, many times people die of something else and not due to cll.
