See a podiatrist: Buy some over the counter anti fungal drops, not cream, at th drug store and begin using this as directed on the nail bed. The nail needs to be cleanly removed, so your family doc or a podiatrist can do,this in sterile fashion, and inspect to insure you don't have other problems you missed in your exam.
