Red spot by itself: is not a big a deal as many red spots together appearing on your eye. Do you know what you were doing prior to it appearing? That's also a good thing to know. What is 'gla'? If your eye is bothering you, it's time to see your eye docto and have it looked under a microsope. (slit lamp exam) so she/he can tell you exactly what's going on. This will give you peace of mind.
