A member asked:

How come the brain feels numb?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not possible: Scalp, skull and dura (brain covering) have nerve endings that can produce pain, or numbness. The brain itself has no sensation per se, so one can't feel pain or numbness from something happening to the brain tissue.
