Many possibilities: This could be just irritation, viral, or even allergy cause. Without an exam it would be impossible to determine the etiology. You might just try irrigating the nose with some saline--you can get this at any drug store. If this is not effective in resolving the problem, then would suggest visit to your medical provider.
