Is it safe to take klonopin, 1mg; wellbutrin (bupropion) xl, 150mg, both once daily? i am assuming so but i thought the rule of thumb was to not mix sedatives?

Yes: If you are taking them under a doctor's supervision and take as directed you will be safe.

Yes: According to the medscape drug interaction checker, there is no interaction between Klonopin & Wellbutrin XL. There is a minor interaction between Cipro (ciprofloxacin) and Klonopin but it is insignificant.

You can mix: sedatives but the effects add up so need to reduce total dosage, but Wellbutrin (bupropion) is not a sedative
