Sharp pain in chest when inhaling or lying on side and aching pain in left leg... what could it be?

Go to Emergency.: You need to go to ED. you are describing a chest pain with musculoskeletal or pleuratic features. Given the combo of left leg pain with this Chest pain I'm worried that is a clot. It could be a coincident to have both but i think this could be serious and you need to go to the ED. Especially if you have leg swelling or redness or you smoke or obese or takes contraceptive or have family hx of clot.
