My ears are hot and my throat has swelling to it by my jaw area. it feels like my throat is closing as if its tight there is a constant pressure within my throat ?

Sore throat: Are these symptoms only a day or two old or have they been present for days? If they are new, a viral throat infection would be likely. If they are chronic, tension and stress would be suspected. A viral throat infection may be followed by a head cold but clears on its own. Stress management would be helpful for chronic throat tightness. Discuss this with your physician.
