Eye irritation: Oil on your skin should not irritate your eyes? do you mean sweat? in that case, the salt in your sweat will irritate your eyes. You are 26 yrs old. I'm sure this is not a new experience for you.

Yes, it can. : Many skin surface secretions around the eyes & eyelids, such as oil & perspiration, may enter the eyes after crying, sweating, &rubbing. Also deposits from the environment that you live in May adhere to the periocular skin and may be introduced as above. Some of these may be more irritating than others, especially salty sweat. Washing face & eyelids with gentle soap & water & artif. Tears Help
