Percutaneous: Percutaneous coronary intervention, not percussionist coronary intervention. We generally don't have drummers doing coronary interventions unless they are also an interventional cardiologist. Percutaneous is generally more readily done in a short time frame than coronary bypass surgery and carries fewer complications in general. Some cases however do require urgent CABG rather than PCI

Presume you mean: I presume you mean that interventionalist tries to achieve a door to balloon time of 90 minutes or less which is the benchmark for centers offering emergency Angioplasty for acute MI. This is the time from admission to the time the balloon is inflated in the cath lab. Angioplasty can be offered if the attack occured 3 hours or less. The shorter the interval the better the outcome
