It can be but: It's unclear if you mean colposcopy or colonscopy, it appears colposcopy. If you had a colposcopy and your healthcare provider completed a biopsy at the same time, you may have some bleeding at the site. If you didn't have a biopsy and you continue to bleed and/or develop cramps, fevers or lightheadedness, you should review this with the doctor who completed the colposcopy.
