Elderberry: There aren't enough studies to reliably answer. One study reviewing side effects in pregnant women using botanical supplements, showed 1 woman taking elderberry had GI distress -- out of 150 general surveys completed. http://tinyurl.com/m5q9g37 use of a combination product containing elderberry showed no increase in fetal malformations: http://tinyurl.Com/mkqss5n be safe and avoid for now.
