Beta blocker: Good medicine to treat hypertension, angina, some arrhythmias and heart failure. Well tolerated with very few side effects. As a general advise: this is the first question you need to ask the doctor who prescribed it and discuss all possible effects and side effects. Reading or asking over INTERNET is not as helpful.
