Bacterial: This sounds like bacterial vaginosis which is the most common vaginal infection. In this case the normal peroxidase positive lactobacillus which keep the pH slightly acidic get killed off and anaerobic bacteria which are smelly move in. Talk to your doctor about this and get treated. It is not a big deal. Good luck.

Douche's and Dont's: A bad smell is bad enough, but a bad smell plus a discharge is a signal to have that checked out.You want to find out if there is an infection in there and take care of it. And ask yourself how you might have gotten that infection.Other things that can influence the vagina (besides your partner of choice) are diet, stress, soaps and creams, bathing habits and douching. Yes! A douche can do you harm!
