Suboxone: Buprenorphine the main ingredient in Suboxone is a narcotic and acts on the same receptors as other narcotics The difference is for addiction control it's half life is from 24-48 hrs but it's pain control seems to be shorter I suggest instead pd once daily splitting your dose into smaller amounts taking it every 6-8 hrs till your pain resolves

DIFFICULT: This is a tough one as you cannot be in treatment and take an opiate pain medication. Maybe Motrin or possibly Ultram. I would suggest that you definitely discuss with your doctors.
