Depends on care: Survival is very much dependent on the care he receives and the reason for his comatose state. If he sustained a serious bleed in the brain then that will need to be surgically drained. If his comatose state is due to swelling of the brain then measures to reduce swelling will hasten his recovery. Bicycle falls in the absence of an impact say from a motor vehicle are not likely to be fatal.
