Don't use OTC: Over the counter cough and cold meds like Coricidin use a shotgun approach combining several medications that don't even work. Usual ingredients: acetaminophen(does work for pain and fever), Dextromethorphan for cough(ineffective), Anti-Histamines(ineffective) and Pseudo ephedrine decongestant(Nasal sprays work much better) Most sinusitis and bronchitis are Viral. WON'T be helped by antibiotics .
