CellCept (mycophenolate mofetil): This medication is used to minimize rejection of organ transplants and is used along with other compounds. Common side effects include constipation, nausea, headache, diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite, gas, tremor, or trouble sleeping.Since am not sure what else you are taking reluctant to suggest adding anything your doctor would not approve of. Call and ask them what to do. Best wishes.

Mycophenolate: CellCept (mycophenolate mofetil) can cause diarrhea in some patients. It is usually given twice a day (usual starting dose is 1000 mg twice a day for transplant recipients). If frequent diarrhea occurs, taking smaller dose at more frequent times (e.g. 500 mg four times a day) may relieve the symptoms.
