See a dermatologist: Accutane (isotretinoin) is the most effective treatment for acne. It is tightly controlled. A DR must be specially registered to prescribe it. You must be on birth control and checked for pregnancy every month. You will have side effects. For a person who fails other therapy, this will rescue her. Most people respond to other things and do not need it. If you have no insurance it is very expensive
