Specifically you can review all of the information presented at the last annual conference at this site. http://www.ednf.org/2014-annual-conference After you have had a chance to become acquainted with this, please return and ask all the questions you can think of. EDS is a very complex condition with a wide range of challenges.

I agree with Dr. F.: It would be helpful for all affected family members to have clinical genetic evaluations & genetic testing to determine the type of EDS. The Ehlers-Danlos syndromes are a group of inheritable connective tissue disorders sharing common features of hyper-extensible skin, hyper-mobile joints & fragile tissue . A specific diagnosis will yield answers about other signs & symptoms as well as prognosis.
