A member asked:

Could i be resistant to clotrimazole after applying it to a fungal infection under my lip for 2 months now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fungal infection: Clotrimazole is used to treat yeast infections of the vagina, mouth, and skin such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and body ringworm. It can also be used to prevent oral thrush in certain patients. It is entirely possible that the particular fungus you are treating is resistant.
