Range of motion PTx: Therapy after rotator cuff surgery necessarily varies with the gravity of the tear and subsequent tissue repair quality. For a simple tear, rehabilitation focuses on passive motion for the first 4-6 weeks, followed by passive-assisted motion out to 6-12 weeks and finally active motion past 12 weeks. Your surgeon will kknow your limitations best!
