Mewds: Multiple Evanescent White Dot Syndrome (MEWDS) is one of the diagnoses within the family of White Dot Syndromes. The typical patient with MEWDS is a healthy middle aged female age 15-50. Patients present with acute, painless, unilateral change in vision. There are flat, multifocal, grey-white lesions (100-200 micrometers), appearing to reach as deep as the RPE. Viral prodrome. Good prognosis.
