Lots of Options: Over-the-counter non-sedating antihistamines like Allergra, Claritin, and Zyrtec are helpful (I like Zyrtec the best). Other treatments include daily steroid nasal sprays and antihistamine eye drops. Avoidance of triggers is also helpful. If you have a cat, keeping it out of the bedroom is important, HEPA filters, washing cat weekly, frequent cleaning. Allergy shots can also be life-changing.
