Unsure: I assume you have facial skin rashes and think it might be an allergy related skin problem. In any case, skin rashes need to be seen and examined to get a proper diagnosis. Use facial lotion/moisturizer daily.

Rash?: Do you mean rash? Dermatitis? At 49 think contact dermatitis to cosmetics, moisturizures (given this brutal Chicagoland winter) but other diagnoses as certainly possible. Alternatively, facial swelling/angioedema the issue? If contact derm, cautious short term otc topical hydrocortisone for a few days, but not long due to risks. Cure is to avoid product. See allergist for advice/ patch test.
