Urine: Urine is a sterile ultrafiltrate of your blood plasma. Blood enters your kidney through arteries from the abdominal aorta and enter the glomerulus, the functional unit of your kidneys. High pressure forces extravasation of the sterile ultrafiltrate into Bowman's space. Several specialized tubular systems then modulate your body's electrolytes and urine travels down paired ureters to your bladder.
