Stress can absolute: -ly cause rashes. But the fact that it was only on your hands suggests to me either you had an exacerbation of an underlying hand eczema which could certainly be initiated by stress, or you were exposed to something in the center that caused a contact dermatitis or also exacerbation of underlying hand eczema. see derm for absolute answers. for now use thick ointments like aquaphor to protect hands
