What's the question?: If your question is "are they related" then the simple answer is maybe, but maybe not. Pulmonary hypertension is usually caused by either left sided heart disease or lung disease (WHO type 2 and 3), but sometimes is considered idiopathic (type 1). If the ASD is associated with left heart dysfunction then it maybe related. Hopefully you're seeing a physician experienced with this condition.
