Vitamin Deficiencies: Here is a small sampling of diseases that may occur due to vitamin deficiency. Beriberi – Thiamine (Vit B1). Pellagra - Niacin ( Vit B3). Rash /hair loss /anemia / mental changes- Biotin (Vit B7). Scurvy – Vit C. Rickets – Vit D or Calcium. Ariboflavinosis – Riboflaving (Vit B2). Hypocobalaminemia – Cobalamine (Vit B12), Nightblindness – Vit A.
